I got it in the mail yesterday and all my worries were put to rest. Unless you have a teeny, tiny cat, this bowl is just the right size. It holds a good serving of food without threatening to overflow. It also looks very clean and streamlined, unlike my previous pottery-style bowls which tended to look very clunky and silly.

The functionality of the non-skid on the bottom is just a delight. I put it down on the linoleum and was very gratified to hear and feel it thump straight down without sliding at all. The cat ate voraciously out of it last night and it didn’t move an inch.

A great bowl at a great price. Highly recommended.

*important note: If you have linoleum, put down a mat under this bowl as it will dye the floor beneath it yellow over time.

I originally need only one set for my large german shephard so that he would not have to bend over so far. I ended up ordering three different sizes based on my three dogs eating habits. Two out of three were made very well and one was a little defective but it still worked. The stainless steel bowls keep their water cool and they have been drinking more of it. So overall my dogs are quite pleased with the purchase and therefore so am I.

The bowls arrived a day early, but I was slightly disappointed to see that there was a small crack in the rubber lip wrapping around the bottom of one bowl.

Because of my time crunch I chose not to deal with an exchange, but I feel that products should be inspected more thoroughly – especially when they are made for daily pet use.

We bought this product for our cat. At First in the “search” we put “Cat’s dish” and this came on. As soon as we received the product we notice that the plate is as big as our cat. quite dissapointed about that… but still we offered to a friend’s family who has a dog to solve the issue. They have to remove the name “Pet” in the reference of the product because also a small dog can’t eat from it.

I was a bit skeptical about how this would fair with the ferocity of my 70lb Coon Hound’s (mix) eating. Surprisingly, after the first few times eating with it, he stopped the pushing when he got to the last few kibble and began to eat at a slower rate, hopefully helping his digestion and keeping him a little more satisfied with the food. I feel as though he would eat so fast beforehand, that he wouldn’t feel full by the time he finished and he’d still be on the prowl for more food – this bowl has certainly lessened that problem.

I ordered these as an interim solution to growing puppies. These are much smaller than I expected. The base requires assembly. This set, however, was not created even. When I set it up, it wobbled. So, I switched the legs to the other sides; same results. The wobbling causes the water to spill easily. It’s very easy for the pups to push around. That’s not what I was looking for. The bigger set might be more sturdy. This set would be good for someone who has a small dog that isn’t very strong.
